All Fred Up: Everyday Wearable

I was asked by a friend to show something that was a little more casual and everyday wearable. This friend is an extraordinary music teacher (she wears many other hats, too!) at a small private elementary school. Her job requires her to be up and down constantly all day long. This fun pencil skirt is not tight at all and as you will see in the pictures below you can kneel and bend easily because the fabric has a lot of give. I paired the skirt with a gray sweater and put a white collared shirt underneath, which is completely work casual appropriate. If you don't want to do the skirt, these pixie pants from Old Navy would be so cute paired with some flats or Converse shoes. Right now the pants are only $25.00. What a steal!
