This past weekend, I spent time with eight of my closest friends that I have known since elementary school. We rented a house in beautiful Suncadia and went wine tasting at Swiftwater Cellars. We had tons of catching up to do and laughter was abundant. One of the girls surprised us with a beautiful video filled with photos that documented our special friendship and bond that began at a very young age. Where she found time to do this with her extremely busy schedule is a mystery to me, but I am so grateful she did. Watching the video reminded me of how much love and admiration I have for these women who have encouraged and supported each other through all aspects of life. It was the highlight of the weekend.
Also during the weekend, I was intrigued to learn a technique discussed by one of my friends that has brought passion and closeness to her marriage. It is called the 15 second kiss experiment. We get so busy in our lives that we forget to kiss our partner. Doesn't that sound ridiculous! How can we forget to kiss? All marriages just starting out to longstanding should do this experiment so that kissing becomes part of their daily lives. Since I haven't discussed this with my husband yet, it will be a complete surprise that we are going to take this challenge. Please join us and then share how it changes your relationship.
